    Re: panic attacks

I don't necessarily get panic attack however there are times I get overly anxious thinking about too many things at once. My heart races while my mind goes a mile a minute. I will catch myself doing this and, over a few minutes, calm myself down.

      Re: panic attacks

I've had a panic attack before. I thought I was having a heart attack. It came out of no-where too. I almost got in my truck to go to the hospital, then I thought, [you can't fukin drive like this]. Then I grabbed the phone and started to dial 911 but called my mom instead. She's a retired nurse, so she talked me down and ntold me to find a bag. Thankfully my wiife had just bought a bottle of wine the night before, and the bag was on the counter. Which usually goes right in the trash with the rest of the grocery bags, but I leveled out my oxygen, and i was okay. I literally thought i was dieing though.

Before that happened to me, if I heard the term "panic attack", I would think, "bullshyt, wtf kinda bs is that?..panic attacks...pfft. I damn sure learned that is some real shyt though. Scary as hell too.

Lately I've heard of anxiety attacks, which are like a much lesser level of "attack". I hear they just make ya feel faint, and sweat with shaky hands. Still sounds scary if you didn't know what was happening to you though. They just come out of no-where for some people. You can be thinking about whatever the hell you're doing, work, driving, whatever, and all of a sudden it comes over you. out of no-where. not thinking or stressing over anything at that moment. I guess it's cause there might be something that's stressing you in the back of your mind, but you just can in up. I'm one of those type people, that just kick my feelings to the curb if they're bad feelings or thoughts. But in reality, or more importantly, in the long run, I think that I'm not really getting rid of those worries, or feelings. Can't always be happy camper I guess. which is fuked up because that's how ya wanna be, know what I mean?
