Nothing like a subject to make the stomach queasy. The reason I decided to look into it is because I have what I thought might be one on my right glute.
An abscess is basically an area that someone has injected and bacteria gets into it causing heat, discoloration, pain and fills with maybe a slight bit of puss or a lot. (Told ya it may make your stomach queasy!..lol)
Well I had a slight one yrs ago after a site inj. in the bicep where the doc made a one inch incision and drained what little was in there. In hindsight I should have just waited it out. He stuffed gauze in it and that was that until I pulled out the gauze a couple wks later. It doesnt feel good at all. It doesnt hurt but it sure feels weird!!!!!!!
Now I have what looks like an abscess on my right glute the size of a tennis ball. Thing is I've inserted it with a 22 gg at least 10 times and no puss, but blood and a good bit of it is coming out so Im not sure what to think on this one.
Anyone else have this happen.....
gator
Mine doesnt look like any of these but thought Id talk about abscess as at one time or another, long term lifters may experience this:
