with humalog, you can hurry and power down some simple carbs and a protien shake, then eat a big meal....and it is out of the system...with humilin-r you have a long time frame to have something go wrongSUPERMOD@ LORDSOFIRON.COM (invite only)

Im currently using humulin r and have had no problems with hypo. Im taking 10ius post workout with 90 grams of dextrose, 10g of creatine and 10g of glutamine. I then take down 62g of whey protein. ill then eat some tilapia and rice about an hr or so after the initial shot. Some of us workout in the evening, so it's nice to know that there's Humalog to take care of biz and be finished. Then you can go to bed without worry of falling into that deep sleep. You really should monitor yourself for a few hours post injection with Humulin-r.
You wanna make sure you get your meal in while it's peaking. Humolog peaks in one to one-in-a-half hrs.1 up
