    Re: Trap injects

IF I WERE TO TRY THIS...IT WOULD BE 1/2 ML AND WITH A 25 GA NEEDLE

do you mean .5cc with a 25 gauge or 1/2inch pin 25 gauge? i use 1/2 pin with 25 gauge but anywhere from .5cc- 2cc in traps...

              Re: Trap injects

I've done them. They were sore the first couple times I hit them, but I think this was because it is an awkward spot to inject (needle movement). But I never have had any problems hitting my traps - it's just like hitting any other large muscle group. I'd say go ahead and add them to your rotation. Just try to keep the muscle relaxed, and hit the middle area with a steady hand - maybe use a mirror the first few times.

^I've put 3cc in just about every muscle, including traps. It's not bad at all. Your traps are a very large muscle (group).

                  Re: Trap injects

Thanks for all the feedback! I'm going to use them. I always use a 25 gauge, 5/8" in the upper body.

Man, hit a vein in the bi's the other day, now I'm having to wear long sleeves to hide the huge bruise it left! Sucks....

                    Re: Trap injects

after reading this post, i just finished a trap inject. I can say from the initial experience, a little more pain from the initial poke and pushing the gear in. Now it just feels like its going to be a little stiff. Ill let you guys know if I find anything else.

                      Re: Trap injects

I have done both sides now. I got a "deep aching” immediately afterwards – kind of scared me – but after the gear dissipated it was great. No “follow up” pain!

                            Re: Trap injects

I'd rather hit them than my quads anyday, my quads hurt like shit to pin every time. I have my wife do my traps if you are relaxed with someone else shooting it's really painless. I like Glutes, Delts, then Traps thats my rotation. Never tried bi's or tris though seems like they would hurt way more than traps.
