  • Need some help about 5th week of duratest boyz

    ok im on deca/prop/dura 500 mgs a week and its my 5th week i dont really take enough prop to get huge gains just take a few shots inbetween dura injections to keep my prop levels elavated but since i been on the dura ive noticed about a 5 pounds gained, but its the 5th week shouldnt i be gainin big time this week? my strength seems to be goin up lil by little i think but i got sick and am still a little sick now and i might have a sinus infection so i mean could that keep my weight off by it self even though im still eating like a mad man all day??? im almost 100% positive the dura is real a boy of mine gained 20 pounds off a 8 week cycle of 500mgs a week but it was his 1st cycle.. but im hopen to atleast gain a good 10-15 pounds more here and im haven a real tufff time gettin passed 175 at 5'8.......

    What's your diet like? Is your diet and training the same as your friend who gained 20 pounds? Even if it's identical genetics plays a factor. I'd appreciate if you posted your trining regimen and diet, and we'll try to figure out what's wrong.

      yeah, it has to be the diet or training if your not gaining off of that. Maybe it just take longer for your body. Try to do what iamdwalrus and post your schedule of eating and lifting.

          i train everyother day 2 body parts a day and i started a new work out routine instead of pyramidng weights you do a warm up set and jump right into teh heavy weights to get your body used to them instead of tireing yourself out with lighter weight and since ive started i feal so much soreer and liek ive had better work outs, i eat 6-8 times a day lots of wendeys ,chicken,rice,steak,protein shakes, i consume everything in teh house so i dotn think its a matter of what i eat or taining im ust worried that if i have a sinus infection that could it be keeping my weight off even though i still eat liek a mad man and if i do have one if i take teh antibiotcs it will mess with my gains also....

            It could be the way you train then. One warmup and jumping to your heaviest set is good for strength building but not for muscle building. Could you tell me the number of sets and exercises you do? Also when you said 2 bodyparts per day, is it all in one workout ot two? How much complex carbs are you eating? When I first started out I restricted eating carbs for fear of gaining fat but a little bit of carbs are needed for growth. How much proteiin shakes do you consume?

            I'm sorry to hear about your sinus problem, I've been hearing a lot of people suffering from it lately, could it be the change in weather?
