i will be shocked if you get that my doc gives me /recommends i only do 200mg every 2 weeks.... i think normal range for free test level is 180 to 500+ it does not take much to get you to 180... when i did 200mg every two weeks my levels shot to over 300 and he wanted to back me down some.

my doc did the same thing just tell him it is hard to come every two weeks and you know how to give yourself the shot and he should also write you script for pins to..... this is what mine did give it a shot

Dayum, good for you bra ! I've been trying to get doctors to get me on HRT for years..allmost like pleading a case to a jury but to never any avail. anyway that sounds like great news I hope it all works out well for you.

I say this because if he does it, he will see that 200mg every two weeks will give you sufficent test levels. If you do it on your own, you inject less and then he will change the script to 1.5 every two weeks and you can accumulate extra while off cycle for your future cycles. Make sure you have proper injection techniques down pat so he is not hesitant to let you do it on your own.

awesome tip! I just hope my insurance covers most of the med cost. My wife is a registered nurse, hope that will be sufficient to convince him shots can be done at home.

Excellent point!! Although I'm not to the point yet where I need HRT that is the route that I am going to take b/c my wife is an RN too.

Good luck. Not to rain on your parade, but you may want to consider your age and natural level of test. The reason I am playing devil's advocate is because 250mg/every 10 days isn't a huge amount. You will shut off your natural test production though. So, consider how much your net gain will be by subtracting your natural levels daily from 250mgs every 10 days, and that will be your increase after receiving your hrt. I hope you have good results, but do consider making sure it is worth your while.
