I think that all boards are like that to a certain degree. If you slam a site that supports the board, the mods are going to get pissed. Even here - I've seen many threats get posted when anyone posts ANYTHING negative about researchkits. And if anyone so much as mentions how painfull some of the EQL gear is, a lot of people get really defensive. Not sure what's up with that...but whatever. I just try and keep my nose out of it these days...

The burden of originality is one that most people don't want to accept. They'd rather sit in front of the TV and let that tell them what they are suppose to like, what they're suppose to buy, and what they're suppose to laugh at. You have Beavis and Butthead telling you what music you're allowed to like and not like, and you've got sitcoms that have canned laughter that lets you know when to laugh if you're too stupid to know when the joke is. People are too lazy and too stupid to think for themselves because America has raised them that way.

I guess they can afford to shit on members, even well known members from different boards, cuz they have 20,000 plus members.
But, negative publicity about a boards actions spreads ALOT faster than positive publicity does.Comment
