Try, have you or a lawyer call and ask for the name of the person who that site. They should have that info, then threaten them with a lawsuit if they dont give out the name cause someone used the credit card #'s and you want to follow suit on the person who put up those #'s.

No one recalls whether or not they saw my name, do they? I never got to see the actual list, so I don't know if I need to cancel any of my credit cards. I emailed the site to see if I was listed, but they have yet to reply. Any ideas on how to find this out? Thanks,

Personally, I don't give a rats ass WHO posted the info. What I care about is HOW was this info was available in the first place?

Just a case of poor and inproper handling of sensitive information and documents imo. If the sensitive data and documentation had been handled and disposed of properly then no one gets hurt, everyones safe and no narc, competitor or jealous ***** gets a hold of his customers info.

I didnt see my info on their but I used paypal. paypal payment does not disclose my credit card info to the payee when I send them funds. I've only ordered pinz from chem, but I dont think that is what made a difference.

Will had ordered from Finakits.com and after ordering three thousand dollars had been charged to his credit card. Will contacted us to investigate the situation. On his statements he was not charged three thousand dollars by finakits.com so we decided to take a closer look at the disposal of personal information by finakits as so many times before we have found that it is the company that neglects to keep customers personal information from falling into the wrong hands. Garbage is public property once its out your door you have no rights to its privacy, upheld over and over in court. Several times we collected piles and piles of order information from the trash that was disposed of by finakits that was in its original form. It was not shredded nor was it destroyed inany way by finakits. The trash we collected was set in the street for pickup. We have learned through some research that the kits and other products sold on this site are being used to create illegal drugs. Finakits aka Researchkits has disclaimers that these are for experiments only but on their chat board (http://www.conversionboard.com/forum ) they 1) Give information on making the subtance 2)Give information on how to use the substance for human use 3) Customers results from using such substance. We have worked with several law enforcement agencies to log data from several chatboards."

somehow I doubt is was a trash issue - either a hack or an inside job - in any case certainly not the authorities

Agreed - that story sounds very bogus - the trash as well as the 3K - one thing you can be sure - this is someone who personally knows RK and is out to damage him - certainly not authorities and perhaps not even a competitor - might have been a hack or a wireless hack if he is on a wireless network.

Im not concerned with the 'story', Im more pissed that people's personal info. was on display? how'd that happen? once someone displays that, things will be decided.
