  • cyele and cardio...

    how many of you do any cardio when bulking ?

    I was thinking of doing 30min cardio 3x a week.. just 30 min walking incline on a treadmill...

    i'm takin 500mg of sust. about to finish my 3rd week...this thursday... so far strenght gain is getting there...weight gain none.

    hey bother... im doing 800cyp and 600 deca a week, im doing 40 min cardio ed. Great results. eliptical only. strength up alot, and waist down 3 belt loops.

        i do NO cardio at all when bulking.. you need all the calories for muscle building

            THAT IS THE WAY, it will get more nutrients in the muscles and help even more with recovery, not to mention the ldl/hdl effect anabolics can have , i used to think "fukk cardio" BUT IT WILL HELP UR CYCLE BULKING OR CUTTING

              cardio?....whats that. seriously, i've been saying i need too. i've been planning too. i even think i did it for 4 or 5 times in the last 6 mo's or so...

                I run about 30-40 miles a week, swim about 4 thousand yards a day.

                  i do 20-30 min cardio post weights. and try and get out a run once or twice a week no matter if bulking or not. That may be on the high side for cardio but some cardio will keep your metabolism high and heart in shape.

                    at 42 i need to do cardio year round. when cycling i will do ed. as turtle says it keeps metabolism high, conditions heart and also forces blood through the muscles for recovery

                      I would have to say it depends on what you want to do. You want to BULK? Or you want lean? Cardio isn't gonna kill your bulking if done in moderation. I am terrible about cardio. I hate it! I know i need to do it, but I am 6'2" 225. If i think about losing weight i do. classic ectomorph. I can lean out just by controlling my diet. Blessing and a curse all at the same time.
