Expiration Date question

OK got a good question for you all... If gear has been stored properly how long is it good past its expiration date?

I've used 1 year old expired gear before and it was ok.

ok... Frogman. If it has not been punctured yet and the vial is new. And it has been stored in basically perfect condition, not exposed to light, high heat it will be fine after a year.
Oil base is not the best preservative (if we are talking about oil gear). If the bottle has been punctured, it will reduce its efficacy sooner.

ive been told a vial can be good up to 2 years while amps can go bad after some time...because they can hold less air...i dunno...don't believe me.

Should be just fine. Usually for all meds as well , I think exp dates are "conservatively" created.

I used a very very old bottle once not realizing i was into a 4 year old expired bottle until I was on the second bottle...didn't seem to have any affect...it had been stored right and never seal never broke. I think at a minimum you might have a little loss of potency but not much
