How long did you research and study aas before deciding to try them? i started reading up on them in very early 90's and as the internet grew and expanded and information became easier to find i read a s-hitload and evaluated risks/benefits of use before i finally loaded up a pin and took the plunge into the dark side. what about yoos guys?

    Re: research?

I bought the Underground Steroid Handbook, I think it was called, back in '96. Then started reading up on the net and found fitnessboard in late '98. That's when I really started gaining knowledge from those guys. Gearedup and the rest of the FB team were kicking the knowledge. Then finally in 2000 I really started hitting the juice. It was all up hill from there. I put on 50lbs of solid mass my first 2yrs of running AS.

        Re: research?

i lifted for about 6 years without touching gear. then some guys in my frat started doing it and i looked into it for about 1 year. Im glad i didnt listen to them. my first cycle was amazing and those guys were basically just doing deca and d-bol with no pct.

There were a few guys here that helped me out big time.

            Re: research?

I trained about 5 years before even considering aas. It was probably another year after consideration that I went to a HRT program. Have never used anything off the street.

              Re: research?

i was 15 when i started researching, that was back in '98 i think. it was pretty much the time i started working out. i'd look at these guys in the magazines and see right through that bull****. as months progressed of me working out, i'd look at these things and say "theres something else, these guys are on something that i want to know about." so i started reading up on it in computer class sophomore year. my research continued for about 4 more years and i took the plunge at about 19-20. i always had sources out of the country, so **** was too expensive to even do a really good cycle. i was always a broke kid too, lol. so 1st cycle was 8 weeks of sust (karachis i think). anyway, research continued pretty hardcore up until about a year ago then i honestly thought "you know, i really don't think there's much more i could learn about the ****." i know what i need to know to be safe and healthy and i don't read up and sh it anymore unless some new study comes out or something.

That's how it was with me. Once I found good information, I was obsessed too. I couldn't take enough in fast enough.

                    Re: research?

I went **** ackwards. I was working in a factory in 1990 with some dude who was hitting the juice. I was working out regularly, and had a pretty good base built. When I seen how massive this dude was, we started talking about juicing, and he pretty much came right out and told me he was on. So he got me some Deca, and I did 200mgs a week of Deca as my first cycle. After my first cycle, and I gained about 20 lbs, I did a bunch of research.

                      Re: research?

I did research heavily and spoke to many experienced users in the gym and on the boards for 3 years before I finally decided I knew enough to pin for the first time. I am glad I did as I have made good gains, kept most of them and avoided some of the pitfalls and sides that can happen from inexperience. The more you know the better in my opinion. It's not something you should rush into thinking it's a quick fix.
