          The analogy is fantastic. Makes it very easy to understand.
          However, below is a quote from a very well known veteran on many boards and I tend to agree with him.



          "A friend of mine who happens to be an endocrinologist told me,"Receptors don't get "dirty".. True, if occupied down-regulation is real, but the body in constant need for equilibrium, will make more receptors to compensate.."

            of coarse recepters don't get dirty. I've wondered if the body will actually make more recepters after a while of having a lack of. I see my endo at 9:30 this morning. I need to jot that down so I'll remember to ask because I was wondering that too...That might be theory. There are many things you can do to the body that it does not regulate, or create more "whatever" to compensate for the lack of "whatever".
