i know what your saying, and i'm guessing, but you didnt, at anytime, look like the guy on the left, did ya? he dosnt look like he ever had it. i'm betting you still showed sign's of being big! you can see people that once "had it" and now dont, but he looks like a never had "it" to me! i'm sure you can atrophy VERY bad, but even though the individual may believe they lost it all, the sign's of a big dude is still there....thats been my experience anyway's.

I have to quote because I get distracted and I take an hour to post...but see...guys like that don't show signs like you're talking about. Screaming metabolism, small bones...shrink up like a raisin...quick. But then have that decent "T" shape frame. Guys like that look 20-30lbs bigger. Then figure in if he's short. Which I'm betting he's 5'7"-5'8"ish. Look at how the camera view is down on him in the (before). Dude, he coulda been 155-160 in the before and 175-180lbs in the after. If he's 5'7" he probably ain't 175lbs in that competition.
Then again I could be way off. At 190-195, I have people tell me I'm 210. A friend of mine is 215. You'd swear he's 230 all day. I have a friend that's 275 that you wouldn't go over 220.

Drop the bomb. Let's hear the details Fuzo. I, of coarse, won't be surprised if he trained for 2yrs.

Well, I still 'looked' big because I have a wide frame. So, even when I don't train, I sill 'look' big but when the shirt comes off, you can really tell. I guess it's hard to say without knowing all the facts. But, let's say that was the biggest he ever was and then went to the pic on the right, then I have to say no damn way. But, if the dude suffered say a serious injury that sidlined him for a couple months then 'maybe'. It's still a stretch but who knows. I also know that when they take those before pics, they put you in a room with all these intense lights from all angles to make you look as washed out as possible. I knew a guy who did one of the EAS challenges and he said it was so bright in the room that he looked like he had no muscle tone in the pic. He said it was total BS how bad they make you look in the before picture. Without shadows, there is no noticable muscle. Well, let me put it another way, how many of these ads do you see with black people? See, not many at all. It's because it's harder to wash them out with just lighting because of their skin color they will still have more color variation which shows more muscle. That's why these guys get all tanned up for the shows, the contrast between where the light hits the oiled down skin versus the shaded areas brings out the most contrast. With a pasty white dude, it's easy to make muscle tone wash out with bright lights. So, not matter how you think about it, there's always some deception involved.
