crashed gear

I made a batch of test cyp 50 ml at 400 mg per ml. I used 2%BA and 15%BB and grapeseed oil. Two days later the gear was completely a gel like substance. I reheated the gear and added 2% more BA. In another 24 hours the gear showed signs of crashing again. I did a search in the forums about crashed gear and it mentioned adding BB to prevent crashing. I am asking for advice from the pro's on what to do. I have been at this home brew game for a while this is the first batch I ever made that crashed completely. I am open for any feedback...........thanks Tick

no way it should have crashed at 17% solvents...not in solution anyways...are you sure you weighed the powder correctly?I have made 400ml test once that crashed but it only crystalized...
Cyp WILL NOT HOLD at as high of doses as enan will, but it should have held alot better than that......maybe redo the math, and add oils and solvent to make it 250mg.....I would try that if you measured the powder correct.Stick with 2%ba, and 18-20%bb

CYP IS TRICKY AT HIGHER CONCENTRATIONS. IT WILL HOLD THAT HIGH BUT YOU HAVE TO HAVE ETHYL OLEATE IN THE RECIPIE AND BE SPOT ON WITH THE AMOUNTS

The amounts were correct I always use gear calculator and do the math to double check,yes I am anal. I have a good scale and take caution when brewing gear. You know I have made high dose tests but it was either a blend of different tests or straight enanthate never straight cypionate. I believe that is my problem. I will add oil and solvents to reduce the gear to 300 mg per ml. O2 please tell me of this ETHYL OLEATE and specifically amounts or percentages I am eager to learn. Thank you both for the feedback.

ethyl oleate makes everythig smooth...you just substitute a portion of the oil with it...o2 can elaborate

By smooth I guess you mean helps blend and smooth out the gear for pain free injections? I read a post by O2 that said to use your regular BA and BB mix amounts then split the amount of oil 50/50 with ethyl oleate. I am curious to know can you add to much EO and what are the side effects if any? O2 jump in there with some advice............

JUST USE YOUR REGULAR RECIPIE AND SPLIT THE OIL AMOUNT IN HALF AND GO 50% OIL AND THE OTHER 50% ETHYL OLEATE

Thanks for the feedback, I just ordered my EO I can't wait to try it out. The thought of high dose pain free injections is great. What about this Guaiacol you mentioned how is it used in other words amounts. I also ordered some of that. Prop at 175 mg per ml is amazing I've made it at 100 mg per ml and it felt like a mule kicked me. Thanks to you guys again for sharing the knowledge.

if these suggestions don't work I might question the powder, towards the end of this "writing on the wall" ie raw deal some bad powders were coming out, seen several posts on other boards about possible bad powders...

...start with 02's idea though he's the mack daddy genius!!!!

Thanks for the information, I have had luck with the gear holding for about one week now. I added 1%BA and 10%BB. I intend on reducing the gears strength to 300 mg per ml. I ordered some EO and Guaiacol I will add the EO to the gear to get to 300 mgs per ml. I have been brewing for years I thought I knew what I was doing. I have learned much on this subject thanks to you guys I sure do thank you.................. I love making high strength gear to reduce volume on injection sites this is going to help big time.

I got my EO today so I will give it a shot. My source has problems with test enan. I have a large batch of test cyp so I can play. I do have some enan also.
