glycolysis is an unconstitutional hyperized theory of relative purativeness. In reality, the variance of a mathematical matrix is equal to the corresponding right angle triangle.

Actually,
Glycolysis and the Kreb's cycle each produce 2 ATP molecules. The reactions within the mitochondrial matrix produce 8 NADH molecules and 2 FADH2 molecules. By donating its electrons to the electron transport system, each NADH molecule yields 3 ATP molecules for a total of 24 ATPs. Each FADH2 molecule yields 2 ATP molecules, for a total of 4 ATPs. The electrons from the 2 NADH molecules produced in the cytoplasm during glycolysis must be transported into the mitochondrion to reach the electron transport system. The 2 "glycolytic NADH" molecules yield either 4 or 6 ATP molecules, depending on the cell type. Consequently, the energy harvest from electron transport is 32 to 34 ATPs. Including 2 ATPs from glycolysis and 2 ATPs from the Krebs cycle, the total energy yield from glucose metabolism is 36 to 38 ATPs.
Of course this is contingent on the fact that Oxygen must be provided to the cell or the pyruvate will form lactate (in humans).
But whose counting????

we're both saying the exact same thing ... but i learned that 1 NADH will yield 2.5 ATP, and you learned that it will yield 3 ... so it's all good ...
I wasn't trying to say you were wrong or anything, i was just trying to break it down.
and hey, it's a difference of 4 atp's or so .. and who's counting anyways
where'd you learn all about this, college classes like the rest of us? I'm studying all this shit and trying to memorize it for a test tomorrow, that's the only reason i posted more about it ...

You guys are cracking me up. I walked into the gym 2 weeks ago and the woman behind the counter was arguing, quite loudly, with another woman about how much ATP was produced, I didn't have the heart to tell them they were both wrong.
29.5 ATP from ox-phos per molecule of glucose
31 ATP from ox-phos if the NADH from glycolysis goes through the malate-aspartate shuttle rather than the glycerol-3-phosphate.
And heres the proof:

anyone want to know how many ATP are formed from beta oxidation of fatty acids???

weeks 1-10 enenthate 1000mg/w
weeks 1-10 deca 600mg/w
weeks 1-4 dbol 50mg/d
weeks 12-15 Clomid therapy with DNP bridge
weeks 16-25 enenthate 250mg/w
weeks 16-25 eq 800mg week
weeks 16-21 fina 75mg/d
weeks 22-27 winny 50mg/d
weeks 28-31 Clomid therapy
But after some consideration I am going to see if lower doses will still have a good effect on me so here is my new battle plan:
weeks 1-10 enenthate 750mg/w
weeks 1-10 deca 400mg/w
weeks 1-4 dbol 25mg/d
weeks 12-15 Clomid therapy with DNP bridge
weeks 16-25 enenthate 250mg/w
weeks 16-25 eq 600mg week

weeks 22-27 winny 50mg/d
weeks 28-31 Clomid therapy

Nautica: so do you say that DNP disrupts the krebs cycle, or simply prevents the electron transport chain from running ...
because if it does run the krebs cycle, you'd still have the NADH, FADH2, except taht it allosterically inhibits the CAC, so you'd just produce a lot of lactate and just the 2 GTP from the krebs cycle ...
