If taking 500mg EQ and 400mg Test E for 15 and 16 weeks respectively, and are concerned about the negative impact of AI’s on cholesterol levels…Would you recommend taking a SERM such as Nolvadex (20mg/day, and continue throughout PCT) instead of Arimidex? And, since Nolva decreases IGF-1 levels by about 25%, can anyone share their experience of a notable negative impact on gains with Nolvadex?
In addition, for those who run HCG, do you prefer subcutaneous injections or IM?

well unless you have a history of cholesterol problems i wouldnt worry about that but blood work will always show you what you can and cant handle.As for HCG i like IM shots, I just feel it gets in faster no other reason,both will do the job.. Yes The IGF issue is the main reason i no longer use Nolvadex. I used it for a long period of time years ago and then one day I noticed i was getting small injuries for no reason, i pulled a muscle leg pressing and tore a couple pec fibers (not bad enough for others to notice really but i noticed) As soon as i felt it i just dropped the dumbells and it wasnt a lot of weight. So that tells me that by lowering my IGF levels like that ,my connective tissues were becoming weaker. I stopped nolva after that and never used it again and have never had another issue like that... For me its AI's all the way..
i think you're thinking too much into this. no need to worry about both.
I have a family history of high cholesterol. I've been able to keep mine in check, but it's been borderline high at times. So this is a concern for me.

aromasin dosnt effect lipids like letro or armidex. i normally use 10 mg of aroma with 10 mg of nolva ED and i cant tell any dicernable dif when i run nolva or not when it comes to gains. also 400 mg of test really isnt much so you should be fine with a low dose of either
just bumped the dose of both will have my lipids checked next month and i bet they wont change.

Jipped, when are you stopping the aromasin and nolva? Are you continuing the nolva throughout clomid PCT?
