The tempermant can be bred out. It doesn't have to be in their genes. Your friend is only perpetuating a quality in these dogs that should have been long gone by now. I am the proud owner of a staffie and can attest to this first hand. Peace.

i'll take the opportunity to do a little flaming here, not you Soda since the guy is only a friend. I read and saw a special about pitt fighting. The sad thing is, its usually like a pitt vs. a lab, or a pitt vs a poodle for training. I read where these assholes were stealing peoples pets and getting dogs off the street and throwing them in there will a pitt bull so the pitt could practice killing them. I actually saw footage of a pitt vs. a black lab. The lab ran up to the pit bull with his tail wagging wanting to play, the pitt grabbed him, shook him around a few times, wouldn't let go and killed him. It made me sick.

yea I don't condone it like I said,and that sounds fuked up.The guys I know just use pitt on pitt not that thats any better,but no stolen pets.I have seen a few before and its not the thing for me.Most don't fight to the death like everyone thinks,like I said these people spend 5,10,20 grand on dogs so when they think its enough they call it off and the vet comes in.What can ya do???I

I have friends that own pits as pets and i also know another guy who fights them and the why he trains his is by pit on pit he may fight his dogs but he take excellent care of them and knows how to treat any injury they may have and soda is right most pit fights do not last till death becuse most serious fighters have alot of mony in their animals and would not want so see it wasted and the amout of money you can get out a a champion dogs pups is unreal sometimes.
