True, one of the better rags I've read too.

Muscle Media (MM2K) was the ultimate magazine when it first came out. I remember running out to the mailbox when I was expecting an issue. I'll thumb through some of the older issues I still have from time to time. It's still hard to fathom what that mag eventually became...

It was totally novel as it was the first magazine to provide real hardcore drug/steroid information. They had an Ask the Guru Q & A with the legendary Dan Duchaine (author of the Underground Steroid Handbooks I and II).

Bill Phillips (publisher of MM2K and EAS founder) tapped into the bodybuilding market that craved this underground info, but once he had a base of loyal customers (both his magazine and supplement company), he decided he could make even more money by changing the entire format of his magazine by becoming anti-drug/steroid. He did a complete 180 and MM2K basically became an even more softcore version of Muscle & Fitness. I haven't read one in years, but I imagine not much has changed.

The new MD is some good reads. Their is a great article about the cho cho train! For those who read it youll know what I'm talking about. Of all the fitness , muscle building mags out I feel MD is the best by far. I mean Its straight up and real, and look at how many pro bodybuilders have their own articles.

Muscular Development garnered up some of the old MM2K market.
