  • Asprin to lower bp while on...

I was wondering if taking a daily dose of asprin would help keep your bp in check while on a cycle? Since people with high bp take asprin to help lower it...

aspirin dilutes ur blood... makes it thinner... AS cause increase in the production of the red blood cells... so ur blood gets thicker... and the heart has to pump bit harder... therefore diluting it (using aspirin) can be usuefull... reduces the bp...

I agree with Loco and Vandoo. Aspirin can be beneficial at low doses. Just fair warning, aspirin ca hamper one's blood clotting ability but it all depends one's genetic factor.

So do you think taking a cycle for ten weeks would be that damaging to your cardiovacular system?

i don't believe 10 weeks could do any permanent damage... ppl whose cardiovascular sys is 'damaged' have had high bp for a long time... the body repairs itself and can cope with those little changes (such as increased bp while on as)... however if u do AS often, and for a long period of time (few years or so) i do believe that it will have effects on ur vascular system... ur blood vessels get damaged and thus ur heart muscle gets tired etc.... increasing the risk of heart attacks and such.....
and if u do it for a long time, the only thing u could (should) do is at least help minimize the risks of that with meds, diet, exercise etc...

I went to the doc and mine was 130/over whatever and he gave me a calcium channel blocker. It sure did help. I stopped taking it on my own after about 3 1/2 wks . Didn't tell the doc I was on, he just thought the bp was high and gave it to me. I stopped because the bp went down and of course when I come off it's gonna go down anyway.

(u could also do 250 or 500mg if u got pain etc...)

So do you think it would be wise to take a tablet of asprin everyday while you are on a cycle to help keep the bp in reason???
