Anyone ever used Tetracycline for acne ?

Theres this guy that comes in the gym and he used to breakout alot and his doc prescribed him Tetracycline (antibiotics) .Anyone ever have experience wt ? So far his face has cleared up and told me he could get them for me for $30 or $40 without going to visit the doc and save money .Could it be safe to do that .He's the nut guy at my gym .....lol...he sells bags of almonds for less than half price than supermarkets thats why everyone calls him the nut guy ! My face is breakingout ......prop !

I've heard of people using that for acne. I've never had any experience with it though. From what I remember, unless i'm thinking about something else is that tetracycline is only for a certain type of acne.

Tetra is just a general purpose antibiotic. You shouldn't have any prob using it, but i don't think it would be a good idea to use it long term. Just till the acne clears up.

Nice he said his cleared up within a week ....keep that in mind not too long ! I bought that Zeno thing it works but only minimizes the spot sometimes goes away but christ I have like 10 pimples to go over and u have to hold each pimple to 2 1/2 min thats wasting my time just lookin in the mirror holding that device lol

I've used it in the past, and yes it cleared everything up within a week. Be careful though, one of the sides is that it can turn your teeth grey with prolonged use (never happened to me though).

I now use topical clindamycin and it works just as well.

my bro uses it he had the worst acne Ive ever seen after his first cycle and now he runs that along with his cycle and stays clear back and face, probably not the best thing for ur liver though

u can burn really easy with sunlight. i used tetra on and off for about 4 years. there are better typical things to use on the market. Like differen. But if ur gonna run aas then u probably will always have some acne.

doxycycine works better..both usually ned to be ran for a couple of months. Stay out of sun

Take note: those antibiotics are note a cure they only help prevent temp problems with acne.

2- real solutions first would be to stop AAS use.. Probaly note an option. Second would be accutane which dries out the pores and is almost a lifetime cure (serious potention sides).

Also note that with antibiotics you have to pay close attention to when you eat or consure dairy.

Yes alot of antibiotic you get sensitivitiy to sunlight. One question?? are you running your AI all the way thru the cycle and thru pct and using holy basil thruout? Hormone inbalances can and will startup acne. I use the AI this way with holy basil 600mg ed and hardly any to no acne. Maybe one on the delt a couple times and small like a small pimp that is it. Try this next time.

used it as well..its to clean bacteria in your system to prevent zits..i'am going for acctuane..email me at yahoo
