  • Writing a book

I am considering writing a book on bodybuilding and steroids and the such...

    I am going to include
    extensive anabolic pictures
    articles
    info on supplements
    info on juice
info on all other drugs related to bodybuilding
    training routines
    interviews with bodybuilders, experts
    competition information

Do you guys think it is worth it? Would you buy a book like this if it had good information?

              corvettedudeman,

The world always need more and better knowledge, so if you are passionate about it, ya neva know.

In general here's some things to think about.
              1. Have you ever written a book?
              2. Have you had any training in writing?
              3. Why are you REALLY doing this?
              4. How large is your market?
              5. Who is the competition?
              6. Like yellowjacket said, How will you advertise, and or sell book?
              7. What do you know about the publishing business?
( and, yup, it's all 100% business, they don't really care about
producing knowledge first, they care about selling books
first, anyway they can, publishing is corp. america, all the
              good and bad )
              8. How much time are you willing to devote to this?

In essence, Is their a market? You bet!!!
The question, is how committed are you to going out and finding them, and doing what it takes to ge their.

              Hoped This Helped
              Good Luck

I have written some small books on politics and philosophy. They are a mere qualification needed for attaining my doctorate. They were published and used as a basis for study in some introductory level political science and philosophy courses.

I am a passionate writer and want to convey some of my opinions on health and nutrition on a large scale basis.

I haven't figured out all of the particulars, but I might as well give it ago. There isn't too big of a risk in it besides wasted time.

I mean there are thousands of people who buy books such as the anabolic review or anabolics 2000 only to find contradictory information and stuff that doesn't really help. If i went above and beyond for this book it might catch on, then again it might not.

I have about 800 pages of great information and already a bunch of articles I will be doing the same time as soon as I can get some free time I already have alot of info ready to go! So in essence I hate to say it when I have my book here you wont be able to advertise it here unless you want to sell it through the board then we can share profits and I will market it for you!

If you are interested in joining me I have some great stuff to put in there I just havent had the time to get it done but hoping to free some of my time up soon!

                      -Gearedup-

Im actually thinking of writing on just health and nutrition, diet wise and including soiciology and psychology and nutrition.

I don't think i want to touch on bodybuilding and juice.

I don't know if i am even going to go through with it, but not going to hitup the bodybuilding side of it
