This is definitely true of substances like cocaine and meth. If you conspire to sell cocaine you go down just as hard as if you sold it. This I know for sure.

hey bro this shit does happen, exactly what they are talking about hapenned to me for rec drugs (mushrooms) and it hapenned to a couple of friends at a concert. it was two different concerts but same thing hapenned, undercover cops asked us if we knew where to get any mushrooms or if we had any. we said no but i know someone that does and pointed the cops in the right direction. we were arrested for conspiracy to deal in scheduled / controlled substance. i ended up doing 2.5 years lockdown and 4 years probation plus i felt like extreme shit for turning the undercovers on to my buddy when i was just trying to help him make money. you probably say i didnt have good attorney but i had excellant attorney, just a long shitty record and too much value in pride and integrity to turn snitch. if they want you, theyll get you.

I never really considered the reality of this until I read that thread over at EF. It got me thinking. I don't mind helping a Bro out if he's a friend but it's really not worth the risk.

Ok bros. My girlfried gave me the standard lawyer answer "it depends on the surrounding circumstances." She did say that telling an undercover cop in person, as in jjgarcia3's case, is definitely a problem. Remember, he told an undercover cop where to buy shrooms and it was in person and they were his buds. Not good. However, in the general sourcing's case, where most things are done via emails and such, it's much harder to prove and unless you take part in the transaction, more likely than not, nada is gonna happen. This is all just an opinion and should not be taken as legal advice.

I think we can all agree that there are lots of things that we may have forgotten to consider and that there is definitely a risk. And, just like there is always someone who can bench or squat just a little more than you, there is also someone out there who knows a little more about this than any of us. Its up to the individual to decide whether or not the risk is worth it.

I attainted this information through interviews, case studies, and statutes on the books in places such as california, texas, new york, florida, and louisiana.

Although it is not likely to have a charge brought against you for this, it can happen. As stated before it is conspiracy to distribute illegal substances. I haven't studied any steroid specific cases of this matter but have seen some regarding cocaine, methamphetamines, marijuana, and heroin.

It's just like handling money for someone who is distributing illegal substances.

What are the penalties for such? Well, you will be charged with the exact same thing the person who is distributing is charged with. In several cases these subjects are granted immunity from prosecution in exchange for their testimony, but nothing is certain. Doing time may not be something probable, but it is a hassle and could be costly.

How would this happen? As stated before if you sourced to an undercover who is doing an investigatoin. Also if the source gets busted and they have emails "So and So reffered me to you" The authorities look at it as you are this persons accomplice. You are giving them customers.

Some of you might have heard about a big steroid bust in plano back in 2001, it was all over the news, i'll try to find the article. DEA and DPS bust in a 20 year olds door. He opens fire with an assault rifle and get killed. He was doing the online selling thing as well as selling around town. Although i didnt know him personally i had met him, and a good friend of mine was there when all this transpired. A bullet actually skimmed his pant leg. The mere fact that he was there, and appeared in some of the guys records put him as an accomplice. The main guy died, but he was brought up on the same charges. He was fortunate and received probation. It fucked him up bad in the head. He moved to thailand for 6 months did alot of meth and came back cracked out like a motherfucker.

It can happen. It all depends on the circumstances and how bad they want you as well as what they already have on you.

The point of this post was to make people aware of what could happen. So keep sources quiet, only source to people you trust. You don't want to be caught up in a federal investigation.

All in all, be careful guys. Keep a low profile, use secure mail, keep everything secretive, cover your tracks.
