Ok, your bulking cycle just ended and clomid therapy begins. Your cortisol levels are sky-high, melting away that hard earned muscle. I want to plan the most effective post-cycle therapy for favorable body composition. Assume training continues high-intensity/low volume. Should I:
a) sacrifice the muscle and use the cortisol to my advantage to melt fat away as well, with cardio. Any estimates on what the ratio of fat:muscle lost would be? 1:1 or better?
b) overfeed yourself to maybe save a few pounds of muscle, but fat gains will be disproportionately high I think (depending on how long cortisol levels are high... anybody know?)
c) nothing special, just eat normal with normal levels of activity.
d) something else I overlooked
If maximizing muscle gains is not the main concern (reminding that body composition IS), which option would yield the best results?
