I use 1 inch 23g for bis, delts and tris. I used an 18g in my delt to drain puss from an infection. Didn't hurt, it really isn't that bad.

Yeah I was trying to use this suspension that would always clog up. So I kept on trying to go bigger. I don't suggest using a 22. It didn't really hurt, but we all have different pain threshold. Kind of heard a pop when I got it in there all the way...kind of freaked me out.
