being fat is a math equation. i just dont understand why some people want to blame other things. u take u BMR, add the amount of calories u burn from activity, then eat 500calories less then that a day. ull lose between 1-2pounds a week.
That doesn't explain why men who have low test levels mysteriously lose fat after getting on HRT without any change in diet or exercise.
They did use it. That was my point. Anyone who says or thinks differently is in denial.
That's not meant as a dig at anyone. But, for every article you read about the old timers using 1 dbol a day, you will find one from someone who swears they gave Arnold the Primo shots.
Test, dbol and deca was not a stack invented in this decade. It was THE stack of choice in the 70's.
nobody is saying that the 60's, 70's and 80's guys didn't use AAS. we're saying that they didn't rely on them to make up for deficiencies in their training and diet.
so u telling me i can get fat by not eating? u might have been compenstating. say u eat 2 meals a day but u still might have packed in 3-4k calories. instead of eating 6-8 meals and having it well split. so what else would make a person gain weight if not the amount of food u consume?
testosterone would help create lean muscle, lean muscle burns more calories even while doing nothing. and hrt is replacement of small amounts of test. that doesnt explain massive aas use. like i said medical conditions. i dont understand what ur trying to argue?

Sometimes there is an inference that they didn't use as high amounts either.
There amounts may noit have been what todays pros use, but I would bet my next breath they used as much or more as the members of these boards.

I don't want to argue at all. Just trying to point out that test and other steroids help you lose fat. It's counterproductive to some people to tell them not to bother with juice until they lose the fat first. They may be incapable due to the test to estrogen ratio of higher fat.

It's not that black and white. We forget to take into account genetics. How many steroid receptors do you have per square inch of muscle compared to me or Arnold or Jay Cutler for example? How does your body process protein compared to Lee Haney or Lee Preist?
We may not be doing anything wrong. It's possible that we are the best we can possibly be, given our genetics.

im not even gonna tell u ur situation wasnt stressful and mine in no way compares to war. but recently i was arrested and charged with a bullshit aggravated battery charge and i felt stress. my whole college education would have been a waste and quite possibly jail time. i had the shits for 4 weeks due to nerves and stress. i lost 24 pounds in a 6 weeks span. i would go 3-4 days without eating cause i didnt want to piss out my ass. i also pinched my saiadic nerve so i was just sitting around and not eating. stress is a mother ****er. and it effects everyone differently. from my formal education though i dont see how not eating or eating less or a long period of time would result in the gain of bodyfat. not saying its impossible, i just havent heard of it.
the point of this is that even with having different genetic, i dont feel that 1/2 the shit people take on here is necessary. it somehow it comes as a surprise to us when u loose a good bro in the community. if people are in the game for the long term, then use moderate dosages, good hard training, and a regemented diet. that way u get the most of what u use and ur not taking tons of shit to compensate for u lack of dedication or diet.
i said 20%. but i understand. i think that diet is an important part of the use of aas. and if a person is is over 15% i dont think they should run heavy amounts of aas because they clearly dont know how to diet. the whole thread wasnt to make people feel bad, i think it was ment to motivate and to make poeple aware that they should try and be more old school about aas use unless they are pros.
My Gf once said to me "I could spot you in a crowd easily", "why cause im so short"? "no, cause you're in shape and you walk with swagger". I about died or creamed myself when I heard that. But true and as I tell anyone else, its all about attitude, hard work and taking care of yourself.
