      Vars half life is 9hrs. So it is best to split it in the am, or pwo and another dose after 9hrs or in the evening b4 bed. Not that anyone cares, and this may seem gross, but if you deficate in the am, or have a regualr bowel movement at a regular time of the day, it is better to take your orals after not b4. Why?, because it takes awhile for orals to dissolve in the gut, so you may expell the oral before it has had a chance to breakdown.

            I use to split mine also...a.m., p.m. and I usually took them on an empty stomach.
