  • Allergic Reaction to Gear??? HELP!!!!!!

I'm on my 8th wk of a 12wk cycle of sustanon/deca. I began the cycle with 30mg's of dbol per day for the first 5 wks. My shots are Tues/Thurs. I developed a rash (looks like mosquito bites) on week 5 shortly after beginning my new vial of Tornel Supertest 250 sustanon. I have since switched up both the deca (made by QV) and the sustanon for an UGL and still have mosquito-like hives on my back, shoulder, head and bottom of my feet. They come and go and antifungal cream nor benadryl have worked.

I went to the doc and he gave me a shot of DECADRON (8MG) and DEPO-MEDROL (80MG). This is pretty much to combat any allergic reaction that may have triggered the hives. The so-called rash went away but has since come back. Has anybody had anything similar to this? I haven't really changed my diet at all, still taking whey protein shakes, supplements and such. Haven't changed shampoo, soap, etc.

I have noticed that my body is really hot, especially when I'm at work. My face looks red as well. The hives are random, and they are different sizes, like I said they are all on my back, shoulders, back of my head and bottom of my feet. The supplements I'm taking are multi-vitamin, saw palmetto, milk thistle, vitamin b-complex and liv-52. I just began taking fish oil this past week. Can anybody tell me what the hell is wrong with me??? Could it be the gear???

I've never heard of an allergic reaction to gear. I'm sure it is possible though. It could be a bad batch of UG gear. Or it might be just stress. I have had hives before and it was brought on by stress. Maybe it is just a coincidence with you being on the gear..

Wish I could help you out bro! Sounds terrible. You say the hives started on week 5 after injecting the supertest 250? But the hives still occur even though you switched? Do you know if you are allergic to certain types of oils?

Pm me the ugl. Did you start taking the Liv-52 when you started your cycle?, and have you ever taken it before? Some ppl can have allergic reactions to greens, and Liv-52 does have them in it. Stop taking it and for a few wks and see if it doesn't make a difference. If it stops don't use it again. Change to milk thistle and see if you get the same reaction. Always remember to drink plenty of water. Some ppl are also allergic to the oils in fish, but since you have just started them, and you had the rash before taking them, id have to rule them out.

I agree^Also could be your body is just not responding well to the test. I always use hg test only. What is your cycle history like? or is this your first cycle?

it very well could be the gear bro. whether it be an impurity that is in it or like supa99 said who knows what oils they use that you may be allergic too.

are you useing any compound that you have never used before? i would assume that a body could reject even a certain ester. weirder things could happen

Re: Allergic Reaction to Gear??? HELP!!!!!!

Any other symptoms such as runny nose, watery eyes, or asthma attacks? Any type of drug can cause a histamine reaction thus resulting in a rash most likely yours sounds like a form of urticaria. There are no laboratory tests that confirm that a rash results from a drug. Figuring out whether a drug is responsible may be difficult because a rash can result from only a minute amount of a drug, it can erupt long after a person has taken a drug, and it can persists for weeks or months after a person has stopped taking a drug. Therefore, the best way to know is to discontinue the drug.

Erythema Nodosum is an inflammatory disorder that produces tender red bumps under the skin, most often over the shins but occasionally on the arms and other areas. E.N. isn't a separate disease but a sign of some other disease or of sensitivity to a drug. Young adults are most prone to the condition. It can follow a cold or sore throat, especially one cause by streptococci. I really don't think you have this but I though I would list it as food for thought.

                          Mick-G, you've got mail.

I don't have any other type of side-effects per-se. I have noticed that I feel hot at work when wearing long sleaves, and this is fairly new. The thing is that one of my co-workers made a comment last week that the office was hotter than normal so it is not just me.

As far as the Liv-52 is concerned, I began using that about a month before I began my cycle so it could be in my system for the dbol.

Prion, a friend and I actually googled what I may have and took a long look at urticaria or "hives." I understand there is no cure for this, they basically just "go away." The pictures we found looks a lot like what I have. I've never had any type of "skin disorder" or anything like that. I'm gonna' make an appointment with the dermatologist and see what they say.

And this is my 2nd cycle. My first was test e and deca 300, but that was about 3 yrs ago. I didn't have any type of reaction to that cycle.
