Yup, and back then, they didn't use except before the show. Everyone of them would gain weight for the show, not lose weight like they do now. Today's pro is lazy compared to their day. Those guys were in much better shape. I went to a show in Denver where Ronnie was guest poser and he was in piss poor shape. I got to go back stage and see him pump up and he would litterally lay on the floor for like 2-3 minutes between sets. Absolutely pathetic! It all about ego for that guy, he does'nt give a shit about his body. I swear, the guy was in horrible shape, cardiovascular wise. Sure he looked good, but it's all for nothing if he can't do a couple sets of curls without gasping for air.Originally posted by BIG_MIKE1979
I've said it before and I'll say it again, the old school bodybuilder was more impressive than todays. Todays is all aobut the amount of shit they can take. Back then, those guys didn't have the equipment we have today, they didn't have the knowledge we have today, and they still looked awesome on stage. AND, without that disgusting GH gut. GH has been the primary difference between the days of Arnold and Haney and the days of today. It wasn't until Dorian that GH got real popular. However, if you look at Labrada's gut in early pics and late pics I think he used it too.I used to have superhuman powers....until my therapist took them away.

well, considering there have been no new steroids released by pharmaceutical companies since the 80's, and that was parabloan and dynabolan, they had access to everything we have access to today, except cheaper and legally.so fresh and so clean clean
