Problem- need advice

a friend of mine just came in and showed me her leg. She just hit .5 of prop 125 mgs in her upper quad and was in and inch. There was no pain or blood during the injection. Now, not even 5 minutes later its bright red and slightly purple but not at the site, it's off to the side and is an overall area of about 8 inches on the side of her quad. She says it hurts like a mother fucker and it's getting worse by the minute! Its not hot, the site has no indication that something went wrong ..so, what should i tell her and what should she do?

Busted a blood vessel, it will hurt and bruise real good, possibly even tagged a nerve. She will be fine.

If it swells ALOT and STAYS hot then seek med attn.

SOUNDS LIKE SHE HAD THE NEEDLE GO THROUGH A BLOOD VESSEL AND ITS JUST BRUISING UNDER THE SKIN. SOMETIMES IT DOES HURT LIKE A MOTHA AND SOME TIMES IT DOESNT. WHOS THE DOC ON LINE? TELL HER NOT TO FREAK THAT IT HAPPENS SOMETIMES

that happened to me about a month ago - first time i tried biceps injects. I could feel it running down in my arm toward the elbow even as i was pushing the plunger in. it was red and swollen for a week or so before it got better. its gonna be a while before i try that again.
