Came across this article which I find to be very interesting. It basically says that many of the "pro-hormones" that anyone can buy over the internet are actually designer steroids.

Re: Designer Steroids
I'm sure they do not do the same thing as true AAS. And they're not steroids. If you read under the pics, they say that they resemble certain steroids. And what point is the article anyway, it says nothing anywhere in the article that they have any negative side effects.
But let me know if i'm wrong...so i can go stock up!!

Re: Designer Steroids
I've tried Halodrol-50 and the stack they recommend with it for the past 3 weeks. My flat bench for 6 rep weight has gone up 30 pounds since I started and my squat for 6 rep weight has gone up by 40 pounds. Additonally, my muscles feel really hard. I'm convinced that it works. I've tried AAS awhile ago and I'm seeing similar results and feeling similar things.

Originally posted by Adam Banksim taking prohormes myself. They do work (some of them), no question there. If you do have access to AAS. They r stronger and have less side effects. I think these pro-hormes eat the damn liver up bad from what i have been reading.

Re: Designer Steroids
actually prohormones are steroid precursors and must be synthesized in the body to an active hormone which is why they dont work as well as the real thing the 1-test, M1T, M1P ect are real steroids because they do not they are active hormones. yes they resembles real steroids but think of how many "real" steroids resemble test with just a carbon aton moved or they are methylated.
the law states any test based prosteroid or hormone is illegal but they missed out on progesterone . tren, drol ect............. so a methylated version of an illegal substance may not meet the criteria to be illegal

Re: Designer Steroids
well one of the products they tested was anabolic extreme which is superdrol. in no way shape or form is superdrol a pro-hormone. neither was m1t or 1t. prohormone are precursors. Superdrol is just masteron with an extra molecule on the 17th carbon to make it orally bioavailable. I actually love it. I gain about 5-8lbs of solid muscle everytime i use it to kick off a cycle. some people get upwards of 10 lbs. it shouldn't be used longer then 4 weeks though as its hard on the cholesterol. best part is its managed to keep a low profile before this article and has remained completly legal. it is not being produced by designer supplements anymore which could hopefully make it able to keep its legal status. The powder is readily available from china. here is a link to it http://www.1fast400.com/?products_id=2041
