i had to get some stitches in ER yesterday nite.. well in curtain beside me a bro was getting a cortizone shot( beats the hell out of me why he was getting it in a ER) but they used a spray to dead'n the skin .. anyone ever used this?

Not me, but I bet it was some kind of topical numbing agent like the Dentist rubs on your gums before he pokes that horse needle through your palette. Which by the way, doesn't do crap! LOLI used to have superhuman powers....until my therapist took them away.

Most likely, it was a lydacaine gel that nursers use for little kids and others who are scared of needles. It numbs the skin prior to injection.

We sometimes use Lidocaine when starting an IV to help with the pain.Comment

I have a pain spray here that numbs the skin and reduces inflamation topically. Works great, in fact I'm going to try it before my next tattoo.

space last night i was in the er and they had some of the lidocain numbing gel so i jacked the rest of the tube that they used on my buddy's hand. don't really know what im going to use it for but if you know anyone that's a nurse or anything they could probably snag you a tube or twoComment
