  • injection sorenes - heating works!

Did a shot in the glute last night. Previously, as I'm using sust, I've felt a lot of tenderness (aw) the next morning. . Actually it felt like I was kicked in the ass by someone wearing a metal boot.

I heated the gear under a hot tap after I drew it into the syringe, but before putting on the new pin.

Location of the shot is important - high on the glute near the hip.

Well, today, no pain at all. Great!

I put my loaded needle on a heating pad set to high, then fold the heating pad over so it's surrounded on all sides. I keep it there for a few minutes then shoot. Afterwards, I put the heating pad on the injection site and rub. I try to keep the pad on it the rest of the day (whenever I'm sitting around). I find that this helps me.

I find heating my gear helps get rid of the soreness also!
RIP BigJim33 & GearedUp: You are sorely missed my friends.

Hindsight is always 20/20. But looking back it's still a bit fuzzy.
