What to ask for when buying B12?

If I go to my local feed and vet store what do I say when asking for injectable B12? What do they use it for on animals?

It's nice up here.. nobody packs guns and you can walk into just about any pharmacy and buy both pinz and vit B12. Much less the fact that it's legal to posses and use personal amounts of anabolic steroids.
