  • Lab results - Cholesterol

I just got my lab results back and it says

    HDL: 97
    LDL: 99
    Total Cholesterol: 223

    What am I missing because 97 + 99 = 196

      What were your triglycerides?
      Total cholesterol = LDL-cholesterol + HDL-cholesterol +
      (triglycerides/5)

yeah SE your ratio is really good! Your HDL is off the charts- above 60 is considered high and your triglycerides are pretty low as well, "normal" triglyceride level is less than 150. Great Job
