My buttcheek hurts

Hey guys, Thursday am on my inject I was doing my left cheek with my left hand,one handed and had a bit of a tricky time. When I pulled the needle out after I was done, there was a little bit of blood in with the leftover oil.
My cheek hurts today (Fri. night) more than my other injects so far. Im sure its probably ok but just wanted to run it by you.
Heres what I did wrong that I know of:
-Oil was maybe too hot still from warming up.
-Pushed too hard on the syringe -the excess pressure is probably causing the pain and probably cause some oil to be pushed back upto the syringe along with the blood right?
-Stopped to switch fingers which wiggled the need around and caused the blood that came up in the syringe.

Sounds like you hit a blood vessel and thats the reason for the blood in the syringe. Did you aspritate before you injected? Could also be that if you moved the needle after you stuck it in that you hit the vessel later. Reguardless you should be ok in a few days. I take ibuprofen to help the swelling and ice pac and keep it on the area about 30min a day. So ppl use the heat, but i find cold works for me better.

yeah I aspirated and it was fine- my hand wiggled a bit when I switched fingers and i'm sure the need moved a little inside, could have nicked one then? The blood amount was only a few drops in with that very last bit of oil that doesnt come out.

The reason i said that was that i did that myself. I aspirtated and later while injecting i moved the needle and then i noticed it got alittle hard to push in and afterwards some blood drew up in the cap of the syringe. No biggey, my hands were just not steady.

Yep that sounds exactly like what I did! The left hand one handed was a bit tricky- it was definitely harder to push the oil through then other times

even after years of experience, you will still have injections like that. don't sweat it too much.

it's normal and next time, inject slow, i mean very slow and don;t shake the needle while u are injecting

done that. dont freak, it's cool. as shakey as i am it happened to me, in my delt 3-4 times...

When my lower back is sore or tight and i can't twist to dart my glute i just sit on the counter and its way easier. Plus, you're not straining to stay twisted so you dont shake nearly as much....

Geesler, you know that happens every so often, trust me about that. If you aspirated and everything was ok, you will be fine. Anytime you enter a foriegn object thru the skin into the body, you can expect that to happen every now and then. I once used 400mg per ml cyp and my cheek was so sore I thought I had an abcess but it went away. Like they said take your time pushing that oil in, and the more you move that pin around the bigger your chance of getting sore. If not I will send you flowers bro,
