is this a must...no i dont think so BUT i get stronger and grow more when my buddy and me workout together on a reg basis! over the last 4 weeks ive gained 1/2 inch here and there and gained some weight while before it was like i was just maintaining!

I'm not sure if it's a "must" but I can see where it would help. Less chance of skipping a workout, changing a routine, having a half ass attitude, and - something I'm sure we all do - thinking we're bigger than we really are. LOL

I don't have a workout partner because I can't stand relying on anyone. I take my workouts serious and am in no mood to screw around. But I still train hard. Amen to that.
A sense of humor between intense sets adds to a great workout.
I worked out with this Fireman once and he was just way too serious and made the whole thing so mechanical and like a chore.
Lifting should be fun and rewarding, despite how hard you train.Rock On!
