    Re: Getting Started

Thanks for the advice guys. Geesler, I'll check into those sites. I'm currently using ON protein but it's Soy. Some crap my wife bought & didn't use. When I finish that I'll switch to the whey. Thanks for your help. I've been leary of eating too much because the gear has helped me trim my waistline & I don't want to get heavy in the mid section, however I do see the logic behind taking in more food so I'll get something set up & post it for comment & start eating more. I'll keep you guys posted on my progress.

The most bang for your buck will be the grocery store. Stop drinking soft drinks and sweet tea.

Gear does not trim the waistline, the lack of calories does. 5-6 small meals a day will get your metabolism where it should be. It will take a little while, but if you stick with it, you will be happy with the results.

Dont be leary of eating too often at all, keeping the meals close together every 2.5 hours or so acutally speeds up your metabolism and will help you keep weight under control! ALong with keeping your body fueled so it doesnt (a) eat its muscles for food and (b) store away fat because its afraid when it will eat next

          Re: Getting Started

Hungarian Beast & Geesler, Thanks for the tips. I have a question about site injection, I tried the shoulder once & I stayed sore for about a week. I switched to hips after that & so far have not really had any problems, I read somewhere that you should even go the thighs every so often. Comments & suggestions please.

Glutes, Quads and Delts are what I've read most people saying to be the least painful. Alot of the pain depends on your gear though. I would rotate the sites as much as possible to avoid scar tissue buildup and minimize risk for abscess.

Very good post. Simple yet to the point.

I also just wanted to add some simplicity to the thread; AAS does NOT build muscle, diet and calories do. Gear only creates a perfect environment for protein synthesis as well as blocking out the damaging free radicals that destroy muscle tissue, especially following an intense workout. FOOD is what actually makes the muscle grow. This is a huuuge misconception among non users, they think gear actually does the building itself.
