  • Getting Started

I'm new to world of gear & a friend helped me cross over to the dark side. I got started w/sus & my friend suggested I stack that w/cip. My friend suggests that I go exclusively to cip when my sus runs out. I'm seeking advice from anyone who will contribute as to whether or not this would be a good move or should I stick w/sus only? I'm also curious if one of these is safer than the other or if the risks/benefits are about the same. Thanks for any help.

    Re: Getting Started

By cip you mean test cyp right? Both sus and cyp are test. Sustanon is a blend of 4 testosterones. You should go with one or the other. No need for both. You should do some research on what makes up sus, and what the cypionate ester, and then decide which one you think is best for you.

Some of the guys might chime in on why they like one or the other better or differenced they have noticed between the two.

      Re: Getting Started

test is test. the only difference is the half life. i could see this working if u jumpstarted the cyp with the short ester in the sus. u should jsut run one or the other. if your not shooting the sust eod your wasting short esters.

        Re: Getting Started

I think your friend meant for you to do one or the other. Cyp is good if you are going to do stuff once or twice a week, but like the bro said unless you are doing shots EOD of sus, do cyp, or enthanate. It's better, trust me!

                    Re: Getting Started

Bros. Thanks for your help thus far. I'm 37, weight stays around 203, height 5'10". I've worked out more off than on about 20 yrs. & most of my experience has come from using workouts I found in magazines or online & usually workout solo. I have just started really trying to study & use gear. I've been using sus 250 w/ 200-250 of cyp added in twice weekly. I'm currently nearing the end of a cycle so have stepped down to 1 dose weekly & use Milk thistle, 1-2 times daily 175mg each pill,Ester-c 2pills 1-2 times daily 500mg each to help w/latic acid, & fish oil 1-2 times daily 2pills 1200mg each. I also drink at least one 8oz glass of cranberry juice 1 time daily. My friend has suggested PCT of Clomid or Nolvadex & possibly another item but I'll check & get back to you. He's been on gear for awhile so I've been trusting his advice on a lot of this. My diet is not great as I'm not a bodybuilder but am looking to gain some size & strength & am using gear to help that as well as maybe help an old man recover quicker & help my joints. I try to limit my carb intake & I rarely eat bread. I drink 1-2,20oz soft drinks daily mostly diet, I do have the occasional sweet usually just once a day mainly like a snack cake or candy bar. I drink too much sweet tea, about 1-2 ,32oz glasses 3-5 times weekly at work. I use Sweet n Low @ home. I try to drink @ least one 8-10 oz glass protein shake daily & try to stick to fish, chicken or beef. Try to eat a lot of vegetables & have been drinking more water. Usually will eat 1-2 times daily if I'm busy if not I may go 3 times. My friend did offer advice on what to do if I suspect gyno but I don't recall what that was @ this time. I don't make a lot of money so I'm looking for what will give me the most bang for my buck w/ the least amount of side effects. Again thanks for your help & let me know if I need to provide more info.

Did I read that right? You only eat 2 maybe 3 times a day?? If so you need to eat 6-7 times a day. That along will get you more gains than any amount of juice will. I think you diet needs some serious work.

Bro, as far as the diet goes.. it needs work.. from what i see, you need a bit of knowledge in diets.. the easiest thing to do is goto the diet section. read all you can for what you want to do.. when you have an idea of what your diet would look like. draw it up,, post it. and then you will see what needs work. but to come in and ask for a diet, will never help you to understand proteins,carbs,fats... you need to know about what you are puttin in your body, and why.. then we can roll..

IronKnight- thanks for replying with your stats and I'm glad you found this board and are getting some feedback/help. The people here are great for that!

I agree the diet needs lots of work. Your body wont have the building blocks it needs to gain any size without having a proper diet. Asomeone could be on all sorts of gear and supplements and not gain a thing simply because their diet will not support growth.

Diet is THE most important thing when it comes to gaining weight (of any sort!) If your not taking in enough protein, ther ewill be nothing to build muscles out of, if your not taking in enough calories, your body wil use the protein for fuel rather than to build muscle.

Dont be afraid of carbs, they are your friend. Just make sure to get good carbs whenever possible (whoe grains, ww bread, rice, oats) Get lots of these. Also, you really need to bump up the protein, get some more protein powder to supplement the intake with, if you take your preotein shake with some oats in ablender it makes for a cheap and good small meal (for inbetween the "real" meals").

You should be eating 5-7 meals a day. This helps your metabolism it will be very hard to get enough food without doing that. Try to make sure you always eat breakfast, lunch and dinner. And in between each, have a protein shake, and some fruit or oats at least. This comes out to be eating about every 2.5 hours. I set my cell phone to go off every 2.5 hours reminding me to eat something in case I am busy and lose track of time.

Since money may be tight for you, you want to find an affordable protein since you need a lot of it to grow. I think the best for the buck is ON 100% Whey, you can get 10 lb bags for 46$ at http://www.allsportsnutrition.com/pr...?productid=114

Also you can track your daily calorie intake and nutrient ratios for free on the foloowing sites, that will be a great help with making sure the diet is on target for what you want to do. http://www.fitday.com http://www.bodygain.com

Dont be afraid to ask more questions too, theres plenty of people with lots of good answers here
