  • Drug seizures up at the border

I just heard on the morning news, that due to the high terror alert last week drug seizures at the Texas border were up 62%. They were talking about how they were being more vigilant. For some of us that sux. Just thought it was interesting and I'd pass along the info.
Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure, than to take rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, because they live in the gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat. - Teddy Roosevelt

Damn not good to hear since thats where i get all my shit...Oh well i think it will go back to normal by the time i need my next cycle...
"Up to a point a man's life is shaped by environment, heredity, and the movements and changes in the world around him. Then there comes a time when it lies within his grasp to shape the clay of his life into the sort of thing he wishes to be. Only the weak blame parents, their race, their times, lack of good fortune, or the quirks of fate. Everyone has it within his power to say, 'This I am today; that I will be tomorrow.' The wish, however, must be implemented by deeds."

The wait will be worth it... as Ironfist said, the regulars will figure this out.

When authorities refer to drug seizures they are usually talking about marijuana and other narcotics, not really AAS. Criteria for escalated threat conditions are just being more proactive in searching suspicious persons/vehicles and an increased use of dog handlers. K-9 units are not trained to pick up on the scent of hormones such as test and other AAS.

Usually K-9 units are qualified in either bomb detection OR drug detection. When K-9’s are duel certified in drug and explosive detection they have been proven to be a bit more unreliable. This means if you are bringing coke or weed across and see a dog there is a possibility that the K-9 unit will be a bomb dog…. Then again it might be a narcotics dog…

So just don’t be a dummy and you will be ok.

Well I'm back (with 2 cycles) and security is still nothing to blink about. Border wait was only an hour and I spent less than 10 seconds talking to the customs agent. Just don't be stupid and you will be fine.
