I have tried short cycles in the past, and didnt like them all that much..although I'm going to try another one this summer with slin..

Well from what I've read recovery of your natural test production after a 2 weeker is very rapid so the gains, however minimal are kept for the most part, say 5-10lbs or so.
I understand the logic on longer lower dosed cycles, I'm just concerned about recovery time. You would have a hard time with recovery since both the hypothalamus and pituitary are fully inhibited for such a long length of time. Lipid profile is always shitty after cycles also.
If you have experience with running multiple 2 weekers I would love to hear your results. I'm talking about maybe 3 or 4 2 week cycles successively.
bro, standard cycles are usually 10 weeks for the norm and people recover just fine with just clomid post cycle for say
test 500mg/wk 1-10
eq 400mg/wk 1-10

I overstand the concept of "normal" cycles as well as theories of recovery time etc. You are shutting yourself down longer on "normal" 10 week cycles and may have a hard time with recovery since both the hypothalamus and pituitary are fully inhibited. You also have testicular shrinkage as a result.
It also depends on how you define "people recover just fine". Personally it takes me about a month or more for my test levels to "normalize" as well as my lipid profile being out of wack. Oh yes, and the fact that i feel like shit the whole time too.
from what I've researched, two weeks will shut down natural test but the pituitary isn't inhibited. Testicular atrophy should not have occurred at all or at a very minimum so recovery is supposed to be much quicker.
g child, your research is correct. Testicular atrophy will be minimized with shorter cycles, and you will recover much faster.
The reasons I dont like these 'short bang' bang cycles is because your usually using very high doses of gear. Sure your HPTA recovers faster, but what damage is occuring that we cant see or feel from those mega high doses? Also the muscle gains seem to be of much lower quality.
This topic can be debated for years to come..I think it all comes down to individual preference. Give it a try, and see how you like it..just make sure to keep us updates with your results!

I'm sure the theory can be debated forever, but I'm just looking for testimonials from peoples experience with it. reality and theory are vastly different though and that's why I'm looking for people who have tried it.
Many people only do the one "short bang", only get 5 lbs so they don't continue because they didn't achieve the 20+lb gain they did on a 10 week bulker... the point is to get 5lbs, muscle on for 4 weeks and then gain another 5-7 lbs all the mean while maintaining those little spurts.
But all that's in theory dammit and I want experiences! haha...
