Yep. And, if your training hard, you'll need em.

I'd foresee overtraining with this...12 week (usually) of working out with no rest...unless you aren't really working out it would be detrimental to your gains.

3 days off is totally fine as long as you're going balls out the rest of the time and taking care of yourself on the days off.

And your gains would suffer. REST is the 2nd biggest factor in your gains.

Three day break is no problem bro. I say keep the diet in the check the whole time though.

I was working out every day and my 19th day into my fina cycle, (75mg ED), I was only up 8 lbs. So I re-thought my schedule and took 3 days off. I went in the gym this morning, I'm up 4 lbs! Bench went up too. GS is right.

There is a big misconception with these "magazine" workouts. Ya know, the ones in Muscle and Fitness, and mags like that. MOST, if not all, will result in the trainee doing serious OVERTRAINING. It took me 4 years to figure it out, and I still had to be coaxed into doing less, and resting more.

Unless you have genetics that are out of this world, which 95% of us don't, you need to really watch the volume of your training. 3 days a week is PLENTY, with 4 days rest.

4 days is fine if you bust your ass in the gym!
