change the top of a vial ?

the top of my vial has too much hole in it and I want to change it , should I take the actual one away and immediatly place another one or is there a risk for a junk in the vial?

i would just get a new vial and move the liquid to the new vial

You need a sterile plug, a new cap, and a pair of crimpers. You dont have to put the cap on, just the plug and it will be fine. Not sure where to get any of the top of my head. Search around, or use an old one you have.

That's what I would do. Seems to be the easier method. And sealed vials at www.getpinz.com are only a couple of bucks.
