ABCESS?

WOULD SOMEONE PLEASE DESCRIBE IT, DOES IT GET BIGGER AND MORE INFLAMED AS TIME GOES ON, HOW CAN YOU TELL THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THAT AND A SLOW DEPOT OF THREE DAYS, WOULD THE INJECT SITE BE RED AND IRRITATED?

I've never had one bro. I believe it starts as a raised red area that has heat to the touch and worsens from there. If you are using UG stuff, it might the BA in it. UG's use a lot of BA in thier gear. My first cycle was UG stuff and the BA was 10%. Talk about pain.

It's hard to tell.

Generally an abcess will be painful, warm to the touch, and will get progressivly worse. An easy indicator is to get your body temp measured. If your running a fever, there is a good chance it's an abcess.

Its hard to tell but try putting your vial in boiling water (with a needle in the top to relieve pressure) for about 5 minutes....somtimes the gear crystalizes and it will leave a red warm spot for about five days that is sore as shit

When i used to get the knots, it was only because i didn't inject deep enough. Some ppl get them too if they inject too much or don't rotate also. If i got one id get a ziplock baggy and put ice in it and put it on the spot while watching tv or something for about 1hr a night and took a few ibuprofen ed. It went away in a few days, but i don't know how bad yours is and if you let it go. You have to start doing this when it first happens, if not i can develop into abcess.

somtimes when i shoot quads the get red and hot for a few days. it goes away. unless its something really bad and not normal looking i would just keep an eye on it. if it gets real bad it might be an infection. get anitbiotics. and abcess wont heal on its own.

if it is just irritation it usually gets progressively less painful. If it is becoming more painful and sore to the touch, then you could have an abcess.

THANKS ALOT GUYS, IT'S NOT ME W/ THE ISSUE, IT'S A GOOD FRIEND THOUGH. HE MENTIONED IT'S BEEN THERE FOR ABOUT 4 DAYS, HARD UNDER THE SKIN, THE SIZE OF A GOLF BALL, SORE BUT NOT TENDER, THERE'S NO REDNESS AT THE INJECTION SITE, NOT GETTING WORSE BY THE DAY, WHEN I TALK TO HIM NEXT I'LL SEE HOW'S IT'S DOING AND POST. THANKS AGAIN HE APPRCIATES ANY ADVICE.

i agree with GG. i get knots sometimes especially in my pecs but they go away in 2-3 days. an abcess may be accompanied by an infection or cellulitis which will require antibiotics. rotate you shot sites more and if you run a fever go to the doc

When to Seek Medical Care

The sore continues to enlarge or becomes more painful.

You are on steroid therapy or chemotherapy.
The sore is on or near your rectal or groin area.

A red streak leading away from the sore or with tender lymph nodes (lumps) in an area anywhere between the abscess and your chest area (for example, an abscess on your leg can cause swollen lymph nodes in your groin area)
Any facial abscess larger than 1 cm or a half-inch across

did a google on abscess and there is a lot of info out there. It seems the biggest way to tell is if it gets worse or does not get better after 3-4 days than you may want to get it looked at.

depends on how deep it is......alot of times they have to drain it because people wait too long.
