  • Cutting not working...what do you think?

    Stats:
    5'11"
    210 up 5 lb from the cyp, but I can live w/ temp water weight (muscles size!)
    yr training=10

    Cycle:
    Cyp 500 wk 1-15
    EQ 400 wk 1-15
    Var 30/day wk 5-10
    Prop 100/daywk 15-20
    Win 50/day wk 15-20

    Diet:
    2000 cal/day:
    200 pro
    100 carb
    30+ fat
    1 gallon water
    1 multivitamin
    Anti e's / milk thistle / Saw Pawmetto

    Typical daily diet:
    8am: 4 eggs, 4 strips lean bacon, whole wheat toast
    10am: 2 scoops whey protein
    1pm: 1 chicken breast, 1/2 cup potato (or salad)
    3pm: 2 scoops whey protein
    6pm: Lift for 45+- min then 1 scoop whey IMM., 1 more 30 min later
    9pm: Fish/tuna (or beef)....learned long ago to never eat carbs @ night!!!
    11pm: Bed time

    Typical daily exer:
    -on cardio days, I'll do 30min on empty stomach 3 days a week
    -lift 3 days on 1 day off for 30-45 min...NEVER EVER longer than that.....that shit justs eats my muscles up. My trainer way back didn't believe it till he saw it.

    *I tend to put on muscle very easily, but burning fat is def my sticking point.
    What should I do....longer cardio? more cardio? What? Thanks fellas, Shiner

    P.S: I've posted about this in the past, and some suggested that the muscle wasting might stop once cycle starts (helps preserve the muscle). But now in week 5 and still no fat loss. Also been taking ripped fuel. Went through the entire bottle and actually put on 5 pounds from the cyp......somethings gotta be wrong here....thanks again....I gotta step away for a bit, but I'll check back guys....Shiner

      Maybe cardio sessions at 45-60min. I scoop of whey mixed in water before cardio. Lose the bacon in the morning and add replace it with 4-6 egg whites.

        cutting doesn't work for me either. I think that next time I may alter my diet and do some cardio.....having a fiance doesn't help either, she knows what i look like naked and she hasn't left yet

          True...if they already love ya, it's hard to improve on that....

          Upping the cardio sounds good....it's just so hard to get the energy flowing in the morning...I'll give it 2-3 weeks like that and see what happens. Also, I was wondering if the fat content in the bacon was your reason for X-ing it out? Makes perfect since, just curious, though...Thanks, Shiner

            Yeah, and the sodium.

            Don't get me wrong, I am far from an expert in cutting. I can't keep peanut butter and jelly from entering my face. And I am allergic to cardio machines. I break out in a sweat and start breathing heavily.

                      What are you doing for your cardio? I am in the same boat as you. The only thing that makes me cut well is intense cardio(elyptical and bike dont work for me). I need to be sweating hard and breathing hard. I start on the stair climber for 10 minutes, hit the jump rope hard for 10 minutes, then sprint/jogging routine for 15 minutes. jog 2 minutes, sprint 30 seconds until my 15 minutes is up. I make sure to go straight from one exercise to another. Might wanna try it. Some say you will burn too much muscle this way, but I have found it very effective.

                        WAS 5'11" 235 12%....lost muscle from trying to cut and now 210 14%...Ain't life a *****!

                          Bigga...that sounds like what I used to do in the ol' high school days. And you're right, cause whatever I was doing from 17-21 worked like a charm (not to mention metabolism). But hey, maybe I'll try that again, and just go from one set to the next, until my routine is up. This was the weightlifting is almost like a second cardio session. After all, this is what Arnold recomends in his ENCY. Also, the cardio idea sounds deadly! lol, but maybe I can do that. As stated above, i'm gonna try to move cardio time up to 45-60 min A.M. on emtpy stomach 3 X week. Maybe by making it very intense, it will change something.

                              It really does work bro. If you cant do it all at your first time thats a good thing. Just work your way up. Good luck. Keep us updated bro.
