  • New training split. What do you guys think?

    Day 1 - Chest
    Day 2 - Triceps, Delts
    Day 3 - Quads
    Day 4 - Cardio*
    Day 5 - Back
Day 6 - Biceps, Forearms, Hamstrings, Calves
    Day 7 - Abs
    Day 8 - Cardio*
    Day 9 - Repeat

*Done first thing upon waking on an empty stomach.

Plenty of rest days and no days off. Enough for maximum recuperation and stimulating the metabolism every day.

I would switch the triceps and biceps. Because your triceps will be a little weaker from the chest workout the day before, same goes for biceps after back day. That way you have 2 days to recover before using your triceps or biceps again.

Your body might react different then mine, but I tried this split before and that's what happened to me.

i dotn know if i would do tris and delts, and back then bis on consecutive days. Not much rest for the secondary muscles.
      try:
      1 Chest
      2 Quads
      3 Bis, Forearms, Hams, Calves
      4 Cardio
      5 Delts Tris
      6 Back
      7 Abs, Calves
      8 Cardio
      9 Repeat

Hehehe I knew someone would say something about that. The reason I have it like this is so I can just fully finish off the muscles that have already been pre-exhausted the previous day and have all those extra rest days until the muscles are hit again.

        Thx for the feedback though.

Hmmmmm looks pretty good. Only thing though is that my bi's and forearms might not be fully recovered by the time I do back. Also doing tri's before back wouldn't be a problem but delts would since delts are largely involved in back exercises. Ahhhh the choices one must make.....

              Then why'd you ask:p j/k

For me it didn't work out to good because I couldn't push or pull as much weight to get a good workout in. But like I said your body might react different then mine. Besides we need to see what your body reacts to and change up our routine to shock those muscles.
