  • Anyone Ever Notice This? Skeletal Tissue

I've been training for over 10 yr. now and I've noticed one thing has been very genetically consistant for all "Big & Ripped" guys. They ALL have massive hands, heads, and feet. They aren't tall, but have a massive bone structure. I've only met one guy who actually looked like a bodybuilder, that didn't have those features. Do you think that the gear actually causes their skeletal muscle to grow over time as well, or is it all genetics. I've heard that 'HGH' will do that, but what are your thoughts?....This seems like such a stupid ass topic, but I can't help but notice it in personal accounts and pictures....Shiner

    P.S:
(ie) their jaw muscles, skull, ect....they always seem to get bigger. Look at the before and after pics of guys (like Ronnie) after 10 yr. of juicing.

hmmm thats a good question....obviously the juice is gonna give u more masculine looks but it also has to do with genetics...i think most people who have the big bone structure put on weight (all types...lean fat) alot easier...and those who r skinnier just have it harder

Anabolics will increase bone density over time, even the orals. Deca is one ester that is proven to build bone density. That is a good thing though!

yea as a matter of fact a good weight lifting prohram overtime increases bone density too...one of the many reasons to weight train...especially for older people

Also, what stack might further this process? ie: Test/Deca Dbol/Deca etc...

P.S. Could E Q do the trick as well, being that their compounds are so similar?

Re: Anyone Ever Notice This? Skeletal Tissue

Just gaining weight will cause the skeletal tissue to enlarge to support extra weight. If you look at many "before pictures" of bodybuilders over the decades you will see that they did not have great genetics or large frames but as they gained size their frames expanded. An example of this to the extreme was Bertil Fox and he and others competed before GH was used. My personal theory is that steroids mediate growth through IGF stimulation and this is only beginning to be understood. Heavy exercise without steroids will also do this but overtraining needs to be controlled.

Prot, you got any before pics of Bertil Fox?

I'd also be interested to see more info on the bone density growth, if anyone's got research.....Shiner

Unfortunately a quick search found no early pics of Bertil but they remain in my head. He was a very thin guy with terrible looking frame and no mass of any kind, muscle or bone.

I dont think studies have been done as this really is a long term study issue...decades long. I recall in Joe Weifer's early writings he often mentioned watching manual laborers and noting that the most powerful were bigger but had less endurance and vice versa. He theorized that to grow bigger one needed to do less but more intense workouts of short duration and avoid fast hand movements of any kind while arttempting to gain size. If you observe many older guys you will see that their heads have kept growing as well as parts like ears and noses, which are cartilage. I really feel to avoid this look one must restrict calories as lower animal experiments indicate. BBers , of course, overfeed and this is why they continue developing skeletal mass.

I am , myself, an older person and in my 40's my shoe size went up two sizes and a recent physical showed I was taller than I've ever been in my life. I am also heavier and more muscular. I attribute this to briefer, more intense workouts and less calorie burning activity . Incidentally, I gained that 20 lbs in my 40's without steroids. I simply changed my workouts to once a week per bodypart and worked heavy one week and lighter the next and I experienced that growth in weeks. I met Dave Draper a couple of years ago and he is obviosly as tall or taller than he was as a young man and hes 62 or so now. He also said he was squatting more weight than he did when younger.

This is what id do if you are pent on growing the bone structure and not worry about the deca dick, lol! Do gh 4IU split morning 2iu and pre workout 2iu ed for 6 months, Deca 300-400mg/wk 12wks, test of any kind i use the hg at 400mg/wk and up depending on prior cycle history for 15wks then go on low dosage of 250-300 wk till your done with gh, up depending on prior cycle history, and since i always use the EQ add that at 400-600mg/wk for 15wks, and drol first 4-6wk 50-100mg ed depending on cycle history, and throw in some B-12 1000mcg two or more times a wk for good measure, lol! Remember to take in proper amount of protein, carb, fat and eat like a horse. You should blowup on that and increase bone density for sure.
