mixing veggies with starchs slows the breakdown to sugar, no insulin spiking.

I cant believe I didn't even think about that.....I just let my taste buds get the best of me...Is it because of the fat content. Also does anyone know what would mix well with Chocolate protein powder that would help absorbtion. ( and doesn't taste like roadkill)

Water would actually be best bro. Water/Dextrose/Maltodextrin with the Pro powder is a pretty rock solid start. Throw in some Glutamine and Creatine if you're so inclined...

Grape Juice doesn't suck....fairly high glucose to fructose profile...better than any other fruit juice...

When you guys say "cut out the carbs" ,or "no carbs" do you really mean zero carbs? Or just a really low amount? BTW Im 21 ,5'6" 196 lbs at 13%BF (All of which is placed around my abs ,obliques ,and lower back). And if you do mean a low amount ,what would be considered low in your eyes for someone with my stats? Thanks guys.

Maximum 5% of total calories (60% protein and 35% fat). Eat red meat, green vegetables, drink alot water. First week you may get feeling that your brain don't want to cooperate but you will have alot energy. Ad vitamine supplements too and some iron. After two weeks do carb load for one day or max two. Take 30% fat, 10% protein and 60% carbs. Then repeat it all over. Train hard on first and second day, third day do cardio then fourth day weights, fifth day cardio, sixth day light training and seventh day rest. This diet is also known as cyclic ketogenic diet. You can find lot of informations on web.

Did you know that in medicine ketogenic diet is a special metod of treating epilepsy (seizure disorders) on children.
