anyone else inject in there? i use a 25g 5/8, but i hit a vein a third of the time

I do both front and back. sides are full of scar tissue. and yeah i hit blood about a third of the time also. but hell I'm running out of fresh meat.What we need is more people who specialize in the impossible

If you inject right into the center of the muscle, tendons should not be a worry; however, the closer you move toward the clavicle, the more risk to injecting the deltoid tendon (still, though, it is SO small, you shouldn't have to worry about this.Originally posted by pucknutz78
yeah, theres also tendons there that you could hit. Just be careful injecting there.

front and back have lots of bloodvessels going through them... especially the front ones... way to dangerous if u ask me.... i'd stick with the middle ones...
i personally love them... my favorite spot... i used 22g 1.5 on them before.. now i use 23g 1.5 and i love it.. no problems whatsoever.. even when i push the needle all the way in.
never seen a drop of blood there yet...

I've been using 5/8 25 guage pins for front and back. and hell I think there is more blood in the rear delts. at least with the front delts you can see all the surface veins. But still I love injecting rear delts, literally no pain at all if you can avoid blood. front delts hurt more for me, but I still use them once a week.What we need is more people who specialize in the impossible
