  • Encrypted Email Question

If you have say an account at EF and someone else has something like ziplip. Do these emails not go encrypted? Is there a way to make that work or do you have to send emails to people with the same service?

I believe that elite's email system is compatable with hushmail and cyber-rights but not ziplip. Ziplip is only compatable with ziplip I believe (please correct me if I'm wrong). The only way to send encrypted emails say to hotmail to hotmail is with PGP encryption (this is my favourite). It doesn't matter then what email account you are using.

I've never used ziplip before so I wouldn't know really...I know there was a fiasco about IP addys being sent along with unencrypted emails but I'm not sure about all the hooey.

to make the ziplip emails somewhat secure u need to lock em with a password... however the other person (who u r sending the email to) needs to know that password too, in oder to be able to open it...
i'd stick with hush or cyber rights tho... (and also remeber none of them is 100% secure)

I used to have a Hushmail account, but it was giving me lots of trouble. It was always down, slow to enter, lots of headachs. Is it better now?

Yes, ziplip is secure if you send it secure. Password is needed to open. works fine for me.

I never can get into my hushmail account. I type in my username and then it goes to the screen were it says that it is loading the encryption engine and it just stays on that screen. It does nothing it pissess me off to because i have not been able to check my email in 3 weeks so all is lost unless i ass up with some cash for the good account or what ever. Anyone have any ideas tried to get a cyber-rights account and it did the same thing.
