  • Splitting 100ml Vial?

For those of you who use a 100ml vial when converting 25grams of product 250mg/ml, at the end of the conversion do you keep the product in the 100ml vial or split it up into smaller vials (20ml or 10ml)? The reason I ask this is because I've heard a few stories that piercing the rubber stopper many times on a 100ml vial will cause the rubber to fall into the solution. Just wondering what your thoughts are.

Yeah, I think I feel a bit safer splitting it up into 5 20ml bottles. You guys think it will be easier with a 23g needle and a 20cc syringe? The reason I ask this is because I have a 5cc and a 20cc syringe readil available to me along with 23g needles. Thanx.

what do you mean easier....are you refering to splittin it all up....23g i think is a liitle slow but i'm impatient...i always use 18g when i move oil to a new vial but that gives ya a bigger chance of droppin shit in there

Well the bigger the pin and sryinge the quicker you complete the task. If you have a filter I would refilter in the process. You can never filter too much especially if its home brew.

I put mine in 50ml vials, so I buy extra stoppers and change them out every couple of weeks. It's cheap insurance.
